Your journey kicks off with a morning pickup from your Arusha hotel, followed by a scenic drive straight to the world-famous Serengeti. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai word Siringitu, meaning endless plains and once you see the vast grasslands stretching to the horizon, you’ll understand why. Scattered across this breathtaking landscape are ancient granite formations called kopjes, creating a dramatic and photogenic backdrop. These open plains are prime hunting grounds for leopards, lions, and other big cats, giving you an excellent chance to spot them in their natural habitat from the safety of our open-roof vehicle. By afternoon, you’ll arrive at the Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti, a hotspot for wildlife year-round. You’ll then settle into safari-style tents at a luxury lodge, enjoy a delicious hot meal under the African sky, and fall asleep to the sounds of the wild an unforgettable start to your safari.
